Glyna Studio is a small-batch ceramics studio run by Inna Valchuk, based in Gananoque, Ontario. The name Glyna (укр. Глина) means clay in Ukrainian. While many elements come together in the process of making a ceramic piece, clay is where it all begins.
Glyna Studio is rooted in a deep appreciation for clay as both a material and a starting point. The studio focuses on functional ceramics designed to be used, held, and lived with — from everyday tableware to one-of-a-kind pieces made slowly by hand, where form and function develop together through the making process.
Inna’s practice is shaped by curiosity, experimentation, and the belief that working with clay should feel both approachable and meaningful. Alongside her ceramic work, she hosts small, hands-on pottery workshops that invite people to connect with the material, explore their creativity, and experience the process of making from the ground up.
Glyna Studio brings together craftsmanship, community, and a thoughtful approach to handmade ceramics, with a focus on pieces made to be used and enjoyed every day.
