This beginner-friendly pottery workshop invites you to get creative with clay and make your own set of handmade holiday ornaments. Designed for all experience levels, the session is perfect for first-time makers and those with some experience — whether you join on your own or come with someone to share the experience.
The workshop begins with a short demonstration, followed by guided, hands-on making time. You’ll create up to 6 ornaments using hand-building techniques, with plenty of opportunities to personalize each piece with different textures, stamps, and decorative details.
And to make this workshop a little extra festive, hot chocolate is on us! Enjoy a warm cup while you create your ornaments and get into the holiday spirit.
All materials are included: clay, tools, glazing, and firings.
The workshop runs approximately 3 hours. Finished ornaments will be glazed and fired after the session and will be ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks. Every effort will be made to have the ornaments ready as soon as possible, with the goal of having them available for pickup before the holidays. Participants will be notified by email when their work is ready.
If you finish your 6 ornaments with time to spare, additional ornaments can be made for $10 each, if time permits.
